One of the leading automobile manufacturers, Honda has finally unveiled its most awaited SUV, the Honda Elevate with its bookings to start from July, 2023

The Japanese automobile manufacturer, Honda has unveiled its latest mid-sized SUV, the Honda Elevate to the Global market at an event held in New Delhi, India. The newly unveiled SUV will run on the same 1.5-litre petrol engine used in Honda's City and in the Indian market will compete with other well-known mid-sized SUV's like Hyundai's Creta, Kia Seltos and Skoda's Kushaq.

Now speaking about its design, the newly unveiled Honda Elevate at its front features a big grille and has the Honda logo at its centre. On both sides, the car also has thin LED headlights along with fog lamps placed at the bottom. Similar to what we have seen in the Honda City, a thick chrome bar connects its DRLs and headlights together. At its rear, the SUV has its rear lights that are again connected together and at its centre, there is the Honda logo. A rear spoiler and a rear wiper can also be seen at its rear. Coming to its sides, Honda's Elevate has wheel arches with thick plastic cladding along with 16″ alloy wheels. To give it a sporty SUV look, skid plates have also been added at its front and rear.

Dimension-wise, Honda's Elevate appears similar to that of the brand's other SUVs like CR-V, HR-V and ZR-V. It has a total length of 4,312mm and a wheelbase of 2,650mm. It will also be offering a ground clearance of 220mm along with a boot space of 458 litres.

At its interior, Honda's Elevate has for its users a 10.25″ touchscreen infotainment system which supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, along with a 7″ digital instrument cluster. The SUV also has a single-pane sunroof and will also be offering Honda Sensing Suite which includes features like adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking system, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, road departure warning and automatic high beam assist.

As mentioned, the Honda SUV will be powered by the same 1.5 litre, four-cylinder petrol engine used in the City and will have a total power of 121HP and a peak torque of 145Nm. The brand has also promised its hybrid and full EV variants in the future.

Regarding the availability of the SUV, its bookings will start in the month of July 2023 and its price will be announced thereafter. In the Indian market, Honda's Elevate is likely to be priced in between Rs. 12 lakh and Rs. 17 lakh.
