Former radio presenter Oga Obinna has gifted himself a German SUV on his birthday.

The comedian celebrated turning 33 on Tuesday, June 6 and shared images of the grey Volkswagen Toureg.

Obinna wished himself a happy birthday while lauding his resilience.

The images showed him puffing on a cigar while posing beside the grey vehicle parked on a tea plantation.

He also poured a bottle of liquor on the vehicle.

TUKO.co.ke established that Obinna's new vehicle is the 2017 model going for around KSh 5 million.

According to cars.com, the compact SUV is powered by a V6 engine coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The all-wheel drive vehicle has heated side mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers.

Optional driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and a blind spot warning system.

Kenyans celebrated Obinna on his birthday, but celebrity car reviewer 2mbili wondered how he afforded the vehicle as he left his job at Kiss 100.

In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that First Lady Rachel Ruto caused a buzz after riding a bicycle from State House, Nairobi, to the United Nations offices in Gigiri.

The bicycle used by the first lady is a high-end model released in 2021 and features a carbon frame and other premium components.

Known as the Émonda SLR 6, the state-of-the-art bicycle costs a cool KSh 900,000.
